New Tent at The Gypsy Caravan

We finally made the time to get the tent up for the new booth, The Gypsy Caravan!!

It was a challenge and we were not 100% happy with it.
I could tell Tony (my brother) was discouraged by it so I tried not to make a huge deal out of it.

{If I was doing it alone, I would've ripped it down and started over, lol... but that's just me :}
I wouldn't dare ask or even suggest it to him since he is basically the one doing all the work!!
I really do appreciate all of his help!!  I couldn't do it without him!!
Some areas didn't have enough fabric to do exactly what we wanted,
but we were able to make it work... for now ;))

We wanted it higher, but it just wasn't possible with the shortage of fabric.
Oh well... live and learn, right???
I'm so glad we didn't rip it down.
A few days after we put it up I made a trip back up there to put more items in the booth,
and It really looked good.  It was such a relief!!
The massive armoire in the back is around 9 ft. tall so it gives you some idea of the size of the tent.

We have lots of new furniture and other items in the booth.

This is a hutch that Tony built.  It's an awesome piece.
On the back wall is on of many mirrors that is new.

Vintage matching dresser and vanity.
Both with original mirrors.

Little side table that I painted blue.
I love the contrast of the blue and white scrolly sconce!!

Here's a mailbox that I added an applique to and painted white.

Pretty cream colored hutch with paper flowers and Shabby Chic lampshades are my favorite!!

It's been a slow process, but I will be adding new items weekly.
To see more visit The Gypsy Caravan website.

Thanks so much for visiting!!!

The Gypsy Caravan is Expanding

Business is picking up at The Gypsy Caravan.
Thank you to everybody who has purchased items
or just stopped by and left a sweet comment in the guest book.
It really means so much to me!!
We've rented the spot next to us and filled it mainly with furniture.
(Mostly white, but it can be painted to any specification)

FAR from being finished!!
We plan to make a "tent" to hide the lovely
fluorescent light fixture directly above the space.
{I am not a fan AT ALL of fluorescent lighting}
It hurts my eyes just looking at the picture!!

My brother Tony cut a walk way through to the other side
so they would flow together.

The view from the other side
before we filled it with furniture.

I painted the floor. Yep... I did....
It has that far away look....
You know...
The farther away you are the better it looks ;))
It was not my plan to do this.  It just evolved into what it is now.
After I started (in the far left corner)
it started to look like planks on an old weathered seaside dock.
(could've been the paint getting to me though, lol)
but I just kept going.
I'm living with it for now, but don't be surprised if it changes :)

It is by far the brightest (and whitest) area of the mall!!
I LOVE IT :))

If you have any questions at all please feel free to e-mail me at

Sincerely,

Michella

The Antique Gallery

I am so happy to say that we have finally opened our shop again!!!
okay.. it's a booth at The Antique Gallery in Spring, TX...
 but it is GORGEOUS!!!
My awesome brother Tony has helped me (or vice versa ;)
to make it sooo beautiful!!
It's far from being done
but I just thought I would share a peek of it.
I snapped this picture with my phone
just as they were turning off the lights and kicking me out!!!

We'll have a variety of Shabby Chic and rustic furniture,
chandeliers, mirrors, china, glassware, vintage items,
bedding, candles, soaps, sugar scrubs (my favorite) etc...
We also offer custom building, painting, sewing,
upholstering, and design services.
If you're looking for something specific just let me know.
We probably have it or can help you find it.
We will have an album of items we have for sale
and of our past work.

So if you're ever in Spring please come by and visit.
Or if you're looking for a shopping destination
to spend the day.
The Antique Gallery is an 85,000 Sq. Ft. mall
with approx. 250 vendors!!
There's even a restaurant here that serves the best hamburgers!!
There is absolutely something for everyone.
Just remember to wear your walking shoes :))

Hope to see you soon!!

Michella
