Since opening my Etsy shop on July 2nd,

I have been overwhelmed by the

warmth and kindness of other Etsy shop owners

 who are so willing to help a newcomer

and by visitors who are just passing through.

I love that you can "heart" a shop and an item.

It is like little a pat on the back everyday :))

I have been honored to have a couple 

of my items added to treasuries!! 

That is a HUGE pat on the back for me!!

Not to mention the two sales I've made :))

I am so excited about getting my inventory listed!!

I just wish the process was a bit faster for me, lol!!

 ~ Vintage Milk Glass Westmoreland Vase ~

I just recently learned that although it looks like a pineapple it is a celery vase. In the late 1800s-early 1900s, celery was considered a delicacy because it was quite difficult to grow, and therefore quite expensive. (Yep, celery!) This is why some dinnerware sets include a celery vase. It makes a great traditional serving piece or flower vase. 

  

 Would make a beautiful wedding centerpiece.
